APT Ho Chi Minh 2022: Amit Kaushik On The FT of ME

The top 18 players resumed the final day of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam Ho Chi Minh 2022 Main Event earlier today, and the field is now down to the top eight players. Among the eight is Indian pro player Amit Kaushik.

Out of the 722 entries across three days of the event, the top 18 had made their way to the final day today. The field condensed to the top nine on the final table, and now with the elimination of Korea’s Song Jae Min at the ninth place, the final eight are now in contention to win the title and a top prize of VND 2.7B (approx. ₹92,38,964).

Among the final tablist is APT VSOP 2022 Deep Stack Hyper Turbo winner Amit Kaushik. Kaushik resumed the day with the tenth highest stack of 1,020,000 chips and is now the last Indian standing at this event. 

Apart from Kaushik, Manoj Pentakota had also made it to the final day. However, Pentakota, who had the seventh highest stack at the start of the day was eliminated at the 12th place for VND195,820,000 (approx. ₹6,70,466).
