APT Ho Chi Minh 2022: Amit Kaushik Leads Player Of The Series Leaderboard!

There are only four side events remaining as Asian Poker Tour (APT) Ho Chi Minh 2022 comes to a near close. Held at the Saigon Poker Club, the series was attended by hundreds of players and has seen top performances from the Indian contingent playing there. Running alongside the tournaments in the Player of the Series leaderboard which is currently being led by Indian poker pro Amit Kaushik!

Yesterday, the series Main Event saw a three-way ICM deal between players Tran Tuan Anh, Ha Van Tien, and Indian poker pro Amit Kaushik. While Tran took home the winning title, Kaushik walked away in third place for VND 1,691,700,000. This boosted Kaushik to the number one spot on the Player of the Series leaderboard with 936.30 points.

Even though Kaushik is still to lift an APT Ho Chi Minh 2022 title, his performance and ITM finishes in other events have helped him climb the leaderboard. The Indian poker player currently has two live titles under his name. The first he won at the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) when he shipped the 15K Bounty, and the second title was in APT Summer Festival Hanoi 2022 when he clinched the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo event.

Second in lead is APT Ho Chi Minh 2022 Main Event winner Tran Tuan Anh with 849.77 points. The third place is currently held by ME runner-up Ha Van Tien with 786.70 points.

Player of the Series Rewards

The player to emerge on top of the Player of the Series by the end will take home a Player of the Series trophy, a ring, limited watch, and cash. The second and third place players will get a runner-up trophy and $100 in cash each.
