The third and last stop in 2019 of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Finale Taiwan is about to crown its newest Championships Event winner. Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association had been crammed with leading contenders from Asia and beyond with each one charged to seize the number of events lined up in the 12 day festival.

However, the second featured tournament wrapped up Day 3 last night after arduous hours of shuffling and grinding. Eng Loong Choi who was the chip leader on Day 1A once again resumed Day 2 with a massive chip lead until the third flight changed the entire game. The Malaysian player dropped to 11th position bagging TWD 133,800. A total of 23 players returned and as the field began to chop off the competitors, only the top 16 were guaranteed a piece from the heavy prize pool of TWD 6.94 million. The lead was taken over by Neil Raine accumulating the largest stack of 1,823,000 chips and progressing with the final players to the showdown.

However, the other notable players ending their journey include Graeme Siow and Chia Yun Wu were first to eliminate in 16th place only to split the prize money as soon as the bubble round arrived. Second in the chip lead, Punnat Punsri railed out the WSOP bracelet winner Ji Young Kim who slipped two spots away from the money.
