As GGPoker’s APL Online Series nears its end, the last few tournaments seem to get more and more exciting. The series which has been taking place since June 11th, 2021, will conclude with a Main Day event on June 27th, 2021.
The APL Trophy #15: Xi’an Silk Road Bounty tournament was clearly not a silky road for the players. The event witnessed 1,551 entries put their best foot forward and battle it out to grab the top title. 143 players, at this tournament, were seen qualifying from satellites. Finally, after hours of heads-on play, the 1,551 entries narrowed down to the best nine on the final table. The tournament featured a guarantee of ¥1,000,000, which was crushed as the final prize pool stood at ¥1,240,800. The top 224 places finished in the money.
The tournament title was won by ‘FC – GTO,’ who grabbed a paycheque of ¥141,383.01. ‘Fronsi2,’ who had qualified from a ¥40 satellite finished at the runner-up position taking home a massive ¥68,470.85 in prize winnings. At the third position, ‘yanyan1995’ walked away with a paycheque of ¥48,127.57.
‘GoodahGoodah’ cashed ¥40,075.56 by finishing fourth, while ‘BabaYaga’ grabbed the winning amount of ¥27,582.99 at the fifth spot. ‘SPLC5’ was seen leaving the table with ¥19,617.10 at the sixth spot.
‘FernetBranca’ secured the seventh spot and cashed ¥18,763.77 in prize winnings at this tournament. One of the players to leave the final table early was ‘Govegan!,’ who had a payday of ¥15,387.68 at the eight spot. The first to leave the table was ‘Martin Pineiro,’ who added ¥17,617.95 to his bankroll at the ninth position.
‘otts14‘ who finished 11th at this tournament decided to sell 30% of his share with a markup of 1.10 to five different buyers on the client. 94 other players also sold their shares to other sellers on the client.
The APL Trophy #20: Main Event [Day 2] is scheduled to be held on June 27th, 2021. It features a buy-in of ¥1,888 and a final prize pool of ¥10,000,000.
