Last night, being Christmas, saw plenty of players across India playing in online rooms and among them, Spartan’s Mega Stack last night drew a total of 400 entries (146 re-entries, 50 re-buys). The top 31 positions were paid yesterday for a minimum cash of INR 10,560. For a buy-in of INR 3,300, the field collectively created the exact guarantee of INR 12 Lakhs. The tournament began at 7:30 pm on Spartan and ended at 1:57 am today morning.
The winner to emerge from the long haul of 6 and a half hours was the well-known online grinder Anurag Srivastava aka ‘InvestmentBanker’. With this sizeable cash prize earned on Christmas night, the player is looking at a spectacular ending to his year and will be looking forward to 2019, and 2019 is going to be an action-packed year for poker players in this country.

Some known names also ranked in the money last night. Among them were the recent 2nd place winner of Spartan’s TLB Bhanu Prakash aka ‘spectre’ (6th – INR 58,680), one of the Indians to win a PSPC Platinum Pass to Bahamas Sumit Sapra aka ‘mrgr33n’ (24th – INR 11,760) and Pranav Bang aka ‘CalvinKlein’ (30th – INR 11,760).
