Anita Bows Out Of The Tournament

Table 10 had Bollywood and television actress Anita Hassanandani go head to head with IPC September 2019 Main Event winner Raj Talwar. The preflop action had Talwar bet 18,000 with pocket fours and Hassanandani along with the rest of the table called. The flop brought with it Q ❤ 6 ♦ 4 ♠ which resulted in Talwar hitting a set. This prompted him to bet 29,000 on the flop and Hassanandani called as she had flopped a Queen-pair while the rest folded. On the turn 2 ♠, Hassanandani bet 35,000 to Talwar’s check which was then check-raised to 80,000 by Talwar. Hassanandani holding K ♠ Q ♦ did not want to fold a premium hand and shoved the rest of her stack into the pot. The river 5 ♣ did not make a difference and Hassanandani lost her Queen-pair to Talwar’s set and busted out of the tournament.
