Anand Shown The Door By Udit

The night is still young and the 100K High Roller grind continues with players taking their time to play their cards just right. Table 4 saw some interesting action as Anand Thakur bet 7,500 preflop with cards A J . Udit Kejriwal entered the action by raising the bet to 23,000 holding hole cards A 9 and Thakur called. The flop 3 9 6 came and Thakur checked to see better cards. For Kejriwal, however, the first three cards brought a 9-pair and he bet 9,000 on the flop. When the turn 2   opened Thakur had a flush draw and called Kejriwal’s 29,000 bet. On the river 8 Thakur did not get anything so he tried to bluff by jamming his remaining stack of 124,500 into the pot. Much to his disappointment, Kejriwal called the bluff and won the hand. This resulted in Thakur busting out of the tournament. However, since late registration still has to end, it’s possible that he will re-enter.

  • Kejriwal: A 9
  • Thakur: A J
  • Board: 3 9 6 2 8
