The Vegas INR 10 Lakhs GTD is among the popular feature tournaments hosted on daily PokerBaazi. The platform has hosted a lot of all-stakes tournaments and series in the past and is one of the leaders of the Indian poker industry. Yesterday’s Vegas began at the usual 8 pm and attracted a total of 332 entries (including 162 re-entries). The buy-in of INR 3,300 was chipped in by the field to create this prize pool. After a tough grind of almost 7 hours, at 2:53 am today morning, the winner emerged – Amit Sahu aka ‘amit28091992‘. He beat ‘booyah‘ to bag the 1st place title and INR 1,80,000 in cash. The runner-up also earned a sizeable figure of INR 1,32,500 for his finish.
With last night’s Vegas win, the champion Sahu has added another feather in his cap with this win on PokerBaazi. He is not an unknown player and has previous online cashes. This win is one of his better ones, having taken home nearly INR 2 Lakhs in prize money. The earnings will surely add a beneficial amount to his bankroll and prepare for the exciting and action-packed 2019, with January itself to see some of the most anticipated events like Spartan’s IOPC and The Game Changer on PokerBaazi in February.
The Final Table of Vegas saw regular online grinder Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘duuurrrr’ finishing 5th for INR 61,500. The field wasn’t quite filled with regulars, but the top 34 places paid saw a few rank in it. Sajal Gupta aka ‘Bloodless’ finished 20th for INR 11,500. Sumit Sapra aka ‘boronyx’ came 24th for INR 11,000. Other regs included Guneet Kwatra aka ‘guntz’ (29th – INR 10,500), Abhinav Iyer aka ‘griezmann’ (33rd – INR 9,500) and Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ (34th – INR 9,500). Labroo returned from two runner-up titles day before yesterday.
