Alok Birewar And Ashish Nailwal Take Home Victory Titles


Monday night saw many poker players grind on high-value tournaments on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52. The night ended with some of the players taking home top titles. Let’s take a look at what went down on the online poker felts last night.

The Rainmaker – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker kept players busy with it’s ₹8 Lakh guarantee tournament called the Rainmaker. The tournament welcomed a total of 323 which was made up of 158 unique players, 42 re-entries, and 123 re-buys. The event had a buy-in worth ₹3,300 and the initial guarantee was crushed. The final prize pool was ₹9,69,000. The top 27 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹9,609. The Rainmaker ended in a deal between poker pros Alok Birewar aka ‘Mazacar’ and Vishal Bajaj aka ‘CrownUpJr.’ Birewar took home the title and the biggest share of the prize pool worth ₹1,88,158. Bajaj walked home with the prize money of ₹1,71,340.

Monday Prime – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s Monday Prime had a ₹15 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in worth ₹3,850. The event welcomed 593 entries out of which 303 were registered players and 293 were re-entries. In the end, the advertised guarantee was crushed and a final prize pool worth ₹20,86,000 was generated. The top 72 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹6,470.

The event ended in a three-way deal between Ashish Nailwal ala ‘Notoriouskonvict,’ poker player ‘Afficionado,’ and Rahul Sengar aka ‘GhatakTheGreat.’ Nailwal took home the title and walked away with ₹2,86,000. The runner-up was ‘Afficionado’ who went home with ₹2,89,000 in prize money. The third places winner was Rahul Sengar aka ‘GhatakTheGreat’ who had a payday of ₹2,74,000.

Freedom Fest – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

Adda52 hosted the Freedom Fest tournament for ₹7.5 Lakh and the event attracted a total of 1,273 entries. From this 730 were unique players and 543 were re-entries. The ₹750 buy-in event ended with the top 103 players making the money. The min-cash stood at ₹1,997. The event’s top title was grabbed by ‘Ank4u’ who pocketed ₹1,91,782 in prize money. The runner-up was ‘deathknell’ who walked away with ₹1,12,864.

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Adda52 also hosted its Iron Man tournament which drew in 189 unique players and 163 re-entries. The ₹2,400 buy-in event ended with the top 38 players finishing in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹4,800. The event was shipped by Adithya N G aka ‘Rlox1’ who went home with ₹1,62,529. Sudarshan More aka ‘Sudmore’ was the runner-up and he walked away with ₹1,58,671.
