Actress Kajal Aggarwal as stake holder in Okie Gaming

From playing games with neighbours in the evening every day to now talking over discord and playing Amongus, the dynamics of gaming in India has changed considerably. The digital world has taken over our lives and is largely favoured in rural as well as urban India. One such homegrown gaming platform is Okie Gaming.

They have been known for introducing indigenous digital games through ‘Desi Sports League‘ (DSL). Desi Sports League focuses mainly on popular regional sports like Vallam Kali (Boat Racing, Kerala), Dahi Handi (Maharashtra) with a new game launching every 30 days.

Founded in 2011, Okie Gaming has now joined hands with actress Kajal Aggarwal as she has become one of the stakeholders with the gaming platform. She will have 15 percent equity stake in the company. As a strategic member, Aggarwal says, “I am thrilled to have come aboard OKIE Gaming. The gaming industry is booming at this time, this is the right moment to be part of it.
