2nd edition of GATO Conference scheduled in April

Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has announced that it will organize the 2^nd edition of the anticipated ‘GATO 2.0. – GAming for TOmorrow’. The event is scheduled to take place on the 24^th April 2019 in The Leela Ambience, Gurugram.

The GATO conference is aimed at promoting skill-based gaming in India, along with “augmenting business development for the industry,” the event’s website states. The conference will also include the first ever edition of the GATO Awards. The awards have been established as a platform to recognize and promote the efforts of the talented Indian developers.

There are 9 categories for the award in its debut year. They are listed as follows:

1. Best Gaming App
2. Best Live Game
3. Best Fantasy Game App
4. Best Card Game on an App
5. Most Emerging Indian Gaming Organisation
6. Best use of AR/VR in a Game
7. Best Affiliate Partner of the Year
8. Best Ad Network of the Year
9. Best Operator of the Year (Mobile)

Companies can submit their entry in respective categories for just INR 1,180 here. The deadline to submit nominations is 28^th March, although the it will be extended till 4^th April for a higher fee of INR 1,770 (incl. of all taxes). The previous edition of GATO, which was held in December 2017, saw top industry leaders and experts from leading stakeholder companies like Twitter, Riot Games, Adda52, Taj Rummy, Sony India, etc. participate in it. Adda52 and Taj Rummy are the associate sponsors for GATO 2.0 too.

This year, persons from different fields like console gaming companies, gaming start-ups, animation companies, app developers, OEMs, E-sports companies, legal consultants, tech providers, etc. are all expected to make it to the event. Attendees will have an awesome chance to build business relations, interact with fellow delegates and exchange their knowledge with each other.
