Destiny Finale LIVE tonight at Spartan
Every poker player’s dream is to compete on the biggest stage in the world of poker which is in Las Vegas! TheSpartanPoker.com offered a chance to players across the country to fulfill this dream by way of their exciting tournament series called ‘Destiny‘. Kicking off from 7 June, over the course of 10 weeks, players competed in this weekly re-entry format tournament which featured a buy-in of INR 5,500.
Every week’s Destiny tournament guaranteed a first place prize of INR 5 Lakhs which also included a ticket worth INR 1 Lakh into a INR 10 Lakh SnG. At the end of 10 weeks, all Destiny winners would get together to compete in the Finale SnG from where one winner alone would head to Vegas winning the monster package of INR 10 Lakhs which includes flight tickets, hotel stay and tournament entry fee worth $10,000!
That Finale tournament happens this evening at 6:30 pm on TheSpartanPoker.com and the winner of this Finale will head to world’s biggest tournament in Las Vegas to fulfil his/her Destiny. Catch the live action of Destiny Finale SnG exclusively only on the Facebook page of TheSpartanPoker. This Facebook Live stream will be helmed Team Spartan pro Sangeeth ‘Samoh’ Mohan who will provide insights and analysis as well as talk to a few guests who will join the broadcast through the course of the Finale SnG.

Amit ‘Amit030’ Kumar
24-year old B.Tech graduate from IIT Roorke, Amit ‘Amit030’ Kumar started playing poker with small stacks with lowest blinds during his time of graduation. While completing his education, Kumar at the same time began to build his bankroll. Along with home games in Delhi, Kumar plays mores online and is looking forward to making his debut in live tournaments soon. Other than his Destiny win Kumar also shipped an event at the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) for INR 1,30,185.
Sriharsha ‘Indiandurrr’ Doddapaneni
Professional poker player Sriharsha ‘Indiandurrr’ Doddapaneni was introduced to poker by his friends at the time of B-school. The 27-year Doddapaneni is currently ranked at 2nd place in pocketfives.com’s India rankings. This Destiny winner has made a number of six figure scores over the last 2-3 months at TheSpartanPoker.
Akash ‘Anarchytect1’ Shekhar
Bangalore based Akash Shekhar has been playing professionally for just under 3 years under moniker ‘Anarchytect1’. Shekhar has made some great scores online and also in live events. Recently he shipped an IOPC title as well and stood 3rd on the IOPC leaderboard. Shekhar is the fourth Destiny winner to grab a seat in the SnG Finale.
Anirban ‘pokernoob’ Das
A former product manager at Zynga poker, no doubt Anirban ‘pokernoob’ Das was destined to play poker sooner rather than later. Gurgaon-based Das has already shipped two monthly leaderboards on TheSpartanPoker and he needs to win three more to score another trip to Las Vegas. Das is the fifth Destiny winner and his other wins major also include a side event in IOPC as well as multiple final tables in Sunday’s SuperStack tournament at Spartan.
Nishant ‘DoJingBULLETS’ Sharma
Mumbai-based Nishant ‘DoJingBULLETS’ Sharma picked up poker via Zynga poker on Facebook. Other than the Destiny win Sharma in past has bagged a Sunday SuperStack and made a few runner-up finishes in the Spartan Super Series Main Event. This post graduate in event management recently debuted on the international platform representing India at the Asian Poker Tour.
Sameer ‘voldemort11’ Sharma
Born and brought up in New Delhi, 26-year old Sandeep ‘voldemort11’ Sharma is a graduate from Oxford Brooke’s university IIMT. As a kid, Sharma was always intrigued by card games and then was introduced to poker by his neighbour. Sharma developed skills in poker by observing and also with the help of two of his friends Archit Khandelwal and Aman Dhamija who are playing poker professionally 6-7 years now.
Sahil ‘Variance’ Agarwal
A coach at the Indian Poker Pros (IPP) stable, Sahil ‘Varinace’ Agarwal is the ninth Destiny winner on Spartan. Agarwal came across poker via Zynga poker and being a newbie in poker he played without any strategy for several years. He then took to the game seriously getting coached and learning more about strategies and tactics and has never looked back. Agarwal is an SSS Super HighRoller winner (February 2017) and also has a Sunday SuperStack title to his credit.
